Valley Road Supported Living Service

In November 2024, Nottingham Mencap proudly took over a 3-bedroom supported living house on Valley Road, Sherwood, Nottingham. This service provides 24-hour support in a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for individuals with learning disabilities.

The house offers both individual and group support, with dedicated staff available around the clock to assist with daily activities, personal care, and social interactions. It’s a place that encourages independence, providing people who live there with the opportunity to develop essential life skills and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle in a supportive environment.

Residents are encouraged to engage in a range of activities, both within the house and in the local community, promoting confidence, well-being, and social connections.
